The large living / dining room is comfortably furnished with wood burning fireplace, television, etc and opens out onto a covered terrace terrace, with eating area and barbecue.

There are two twin bedrooms sharing a full bathroom, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a separate twin suite with entrance from the garden lawn.

The villa is furnished with Portuguese traditional furniture. The kitchen has fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher.

For a rental car, it depends on the agreement with the rental company, it could be included in the price or paid directly by the client or something in between, you should always check with your rental company.

Unfortunately the system is a bit confusing at the moment, since there are 2 ways of paying for the toll, with a electronic device or without a electronic device and each has different methods of paying and registering the trip, both before making the trip and afterwards.

With a Electronic Device

In order for the vehicles to use the above mentioned highway, they can use an electronic device, which must be bought or hired beforehand at a Service Area (Área de Serviço) alongside the highways or at a post office (CTT/Correios).

There are three types of electronic devices:

1. Electronic license plate device (Dispositivo electrónico de matrícula – DEM)
   The device is linked to the vehicle’s license plate and cannot be transmitted to other cars. Obtaining: at the highway service areas or other locations like the post offices and the Via Verde Portugal-shops. Validity: valid for 90 days as from the date of the last preload. After this period the remaining balance will be lost and the device will be deactivated. To reactivate the device it will be necessary to re-charge it with a minimum of €10.
2. Temporary device (Dispositivo temporário – DT)
   A good solution for a short stay, and as a result for vehicles with a foreign license plate; the license plate is not linked to the device, therefore, anonymity is guaranteed. Obtaining: it is necessary to establish a lease contract with the responsible entities, at the highway service areas or other locations like the post offices and the Via Verde Portugal-shops. Validity: valid for 90 days as from the date of the last preload. After this period the remaining balance will be lost and the device will be deactivated. To reactivate the device it will be necessary to re-charge it with a minimum of €10.
3. Devices from a toll entity (Dispositivo de uma entidade de cobrança de Portagens – DECP) like Via Verde
   Via Verde is also accepted on these highways. Although the license plate is not linked to the device, it is necessary to establish a contract with a toll entity. This can be used by vehicles with a foreign license plate that stay in Portugal for a longer period of time. Obtaining: Via Verde-shops (www.viaverde.pt). Validity: Until the cancellation of the contract.

Without Electronic Devices

Three day pre-paid ticket (only available for vehicles with a foreign license plate)
This ticket is valid for three days and may only be used for light vehicles, for several unlimited journeys on the above motorways (only where the tolls are exclusively electronic). Purchase: Post offices, Payshop chain, Porto Airport and the internet on: http://portagens.ctt.pt . It is allowed the purchase of a maximum of 6 pre-paid tickets per year and per each vehicle license plate.

Prepaid credit (only available for vehicles with a foreign license plate)
If the period you are staying in Portugal does not justify the option of the Temporary device, one can opt for charging based on the registration of an image of the license plate in everyone of the electronic toll booths. Before passing the highways on which the charging is exclusively electronic and through the CTT website, drivers (after being registered on this site and being provided with login and password) can choose one of the following modalities:

• Make a prepayment valid for five days or up to the balance, to the value of €10 (plus administrative costs and joining fee) rechargeable at post offices, Payshop chain and Multibanco. The unused balance can be refunded, to a credit card, in accordance to the details given on registration.
• Make a prepayment for predefined journeys on specific days. The payment is made through a valid credit card. The amount charged depends on the option chosen. You can register here (only available in Portuguese): http://portagens.ctt.pt

Payment after having circulated at the roads concerned (only available for vehicles with a Portuguese license plate)
If a vehicle does not have an electronic device when circulating at the highways concerned, a photo of the license plate will be made and saved until the payment is made. Term for payment: the payment can be made at the second day after having circulated at the roads mentioned above and for a period of five weekdays, at the post office or at one of the shops signalized as “Payshop”. Note: when a payment term has passed, the driver is in violation of the rules, and fines will be added to the administrative costs.

Plus the Lagos Zoo has all the conveniences you would expect, a typical Portuguese restaurant, a snack bar, picnic areas, children’s playground, children’s petting zoo as well as a souvenir shop.

The zoo is open all year round, during winter season (from Oct to Mar) its normally open from 10h to 17h and for the summer season (from Apr to Sept) its open from 10h to 19h, please take notice that some enclosures inside, like the bats or some of the monkeys have different visit or feeding times.

To get to the Zoo, its very easy as there are plenty of signs pointing you in the right directing, normally you should head along the EN125 from Lagos towards Vila do Bispo and make a right turn at Espiche. From Espiche follow the signs to the Lagos Zoo which is located just outside the township of Barão de São João.

To get your tickets you can visit our office in Luz, as we now offer tickets to the Lagos Zoo at discount, just head to our office and purchased them there, there are different prices for children, adults, seniors as well as family packs, all with discount starting at 10%!

The apartment has 2 south-facing bedrooms with private terraces, one double bedroom, and one twin bedroom, it also has 2 modern bathrooms, one with shower and another with a bathtub. An open plan kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine as well as a microwave and toaster, etc, connecting to a spacious lounge to relax and watch some tv or dvd’s, it also has complete outdoors furnishing with tables and chairs to have a nice meal on the patio outside.

Located near the beach in Luz, just 5minutes walking distance, as well as walking distance of all the restaurants, bars, supermarkets and everything you might need for your carefree vacation.

there is a side garden with flowers and shrubs with barbecue area, and just a couple of steps away to the pool and sun beds. The pool area is secured by a gate.
On the first floor there is an ample sitting room with a terrace with sea view and 2 bedrooms with a sharing bathroom, one with a double bed and the other with 3 single beds. Hi-Fi music system.
The villa has two TVs, one on each floor with free view satellite service and DVD player. Available wireless internet access.
The lounge has air-conditioning.

On the ground floor you have 2 terraces one with sun beds and the other with eating area, a large kitchen and dinning room, a bathroom and a wide living room with sitting for 10, with TV, Hi-fi and a Video Cassette Player.

The kitchen is well equipped with stove with over, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, shaker.

On the first floor 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. All bedrooms have their own veranda. The children’s room, with 2 single beds and a small sofa, has a small mezzanine were the children can play. The other bedroom with a double bed an one single bed. And the main bedroom has a double bed, air-conditioning a TV.

It is very close to the beach and beach front restaurants, about 200 meters.

Now we are entering the Off-Season so we have some especial prices for Long Stays in Praia da Luz as well as some Christmas Holiday Specials, its not just the better pricing and longer stays, Praia da Luz is pretty awesome during Autum, Winter and Spring (ill post bellow the official records), personally its my favorite time, weather is not scourching hot, we have a very mild winter, its less crowded so you have the best of both words, sunshine and some peace and quite for a nice relaxing holiday.
